Starting life in 1968 in Altona North as Altona Brooklyn Secretariat — ab Recruitment was a trailblazer in the recruitment sector which initially specialised in providing secretaries and office management staff for the local businesses of Melbourne’s western suburbs.

Establishing ourselves in the heart of the western suburbs, in Altona North's Borrack Square, the company quickly grew and cemented itself as an industry leader in the small and young sector of labour hire and recruitment services.

Being family owned and operated has been at the core of our business since we opened our doors in 1968. The personal and specialised service we offer our clients — some of which have been with us for over twenty years — is at the heart of the ab difference.
